В то время народ с сомнением ещё относился к бубунте, а массы, не знающие других дистрибутивов, ещё не появились. Те же VPS пару лет назад с бубунтой не найти было, а сейчас на каждом шагу. Так что 6.06 в реальности встретить сложно.
